The inflated pool cushions are positioned floating on the water surface. The quantity required for your pool is strongly dependent on the pool size and your water level. Our quantity table (below) serves as a small guide.
The pool winter cushions from HC Garten & Freizeit have welded-in eyelets all around, through which you can connect several cushions with each other. This has the advantage that the pool air cushions can not move much under the winter cover and stick together, and thus no spaces with accumulating water. Gladly, for larger pools, several pool winter cushions can be placed on top of each other.
The screw valve with a large opening greatly facilitates the filling of the cushions. For this purpose, take conventional electric pumps with attachment for e.g. air mattresses, SUP's or similar. The screw fitting effectively prevents the air from escaping during the winter. After winterizing, simply unscrew the cap completely and empty the cushions within seconds.
Place the connected pool winter cushions as centrally as possible on the pool surface and cover them with a fabric-reinforced winter cover. Around the floating pool winter cushions, the winter cover tarp should rest on the water so that a water pocket can form from rain and snow water.
The pool winter cushions should not be filled with a compressor. Before positioning the pool air cushions on the water for winterizing, you should have added the required amount of winterizing agent to the water for the pool.
Pool cushions relieve pressure on the winter cover, which is subjected to tremendous pressure from rain and snow loads.
